Marriage

Words from our clergy

According to midrash (Rabbinic stories), most of God’s time is spent making shidduchs (marital matches). When two Jews decide to marry it is truly a time of rejoicing.

The Temple Sholom Sanctuary, Chapel and Social Hall are beautiful venues that can accommodate weddings with large or small guest lists.

As you begin to make your wedding plans, you should be aware that there are certain dates within the Jewish calendar when weddings are prohibited. Before you set a date, it is important to contact our Rabbi in order to make sure that your date is acceptable.

Our Rabbi is available to officiate at ceremonies which take place in or out of the synagogue. His schedules fill up quickly, however, so it is advisable to contact him immediately.
